Refugee Family In Need- Rent and Health Issues

Hi everyone, I'm Marjorie, the founder & director of social enterprise Welcome Merchant. One of the refugee chefs we collaborate with is in dire financial situation right now. Her main source of income comes from her small catering business and weekly markets, but it's not enough to support her and her 3 children. Also, her Medicare card got cancelled due to their visa status. She has a number of health issues and needs medication.

They have no safety net here as they await their refugee protection visa application outcome. Her source of income is unstable, and she's now $700 in rent arrears. Recently, their weekly rent increased too. She's not sure how she can keep a roof over her family's head in the next couple of weeks. We know that many people are suffering right now, but we hope that you can spare $10 or even $5, no amount is too small.
