Refugee Relief Support!
We are coming to you in desperate times to ask for assistance in raising funds towards Afghan refugee support and relief efforts.
The current situation in Afghanistan is deteriorating hour by hour, as innocent people face unrelenting threats of physical violence, property destruction and death. While the world watches on in horror, here in America we get to bear witness to an unfathomable humanitarian crisis from the relative safety of our own homes.
The lucky few who were fortunate enough to get evacuated left behind their country, possessions, homes, friends and in many instances families for a chance to survive and taste freedom.
Today many of the Afghan refugees coming into our towns and cities across the country have already done so much for our country. Many served alongside our troops as interpreters, intelligence gatherers, government workers, and general supporters of a free Afghanistan. They took great personal risks to their lives and the lives of their families to give their country a chance and in the end all they have left is a new beginning here in the United States.
One of the many charities we are working with is an American based organization called Sentinel Foundation, who is performing rescue missions to help save these allies and their families. These missions are completely supported by donations and need our help to save these innocent people.
Our goals are to help support these rescue missions, but also to support these deserving people as they integrate into our communities. We are asking that you please stand with us and help us raise necessary funds that will provide some of the living essentials these refugees will need as they arrive to their new American homes. Your contribution will directly support refugees with every need from relocation placement, medical aid, food, clothing, and other essential living supplies.
“We are born into our lives by chance. Our birthplace, nationality, and right to live in safety and dignity is due to luck, as life is an unjust human lottery.
We have a responsibility to stand by those who did not receive a winning ticket.”
