Help Defend Regina AFSCME 2822 Chief Steward
Donation protected
Regina is one of the Chief Stewards of AFSCME Local 2822, a union local representing over 1200 clerical workers at Hennepin County. During this summer, as the COVID pandemic raged, Regina organized her coworkers at NorthPoint Health and Wellness to successfully demand the right to work from home.
On December 21, 2020, Regina was callously fired over trumped-up charges stemming from her successful workplace advocacy. Despite the fact that she and her coworkers continue to attest to her innocence, NorthPoint CEO Stella Whitney-West has upheld Regina's dismissal.
Regina must now try to keep a roof over her head and food on her table while she fights to get her job back. Any money raised will go to paying her expenses and the costs of raising her child as she fights this unjust termination.
