Regina Calhoun Jones

Hi, my name is Michelle Nichols and I am fundraising for my best friend, Regina Calhoun Jones. If you are on any kind of social media, you’re probably familiar with her witty posts. She’s made us laugh, cry, and be in shock for years with entertaining accounts of her life. Beneath that keypad, however, there is a warm, caring person who loves her husband and children (and cat!) very much. Regina would do anything to help anyone, but now she needs our help. Unfortunately, Regina is an independent fighter and would never ask for it, so I’m asking on her behalf.

If you are not aware, Regina was diagnosed with breast cancer in December 2021. The cancer metastasized to her skin and lymph nodes. Now it has spread to her bones.

In the last two years, Regina has endured five rounds of chemotherapy, eight different chemotherapy drugs, a hyperbaric chamber, two rounds of radiation, a skin graft, and two surgeries. Now she has the opportunity to go to MD Anderson in Texas–one of the best cancer centers in the nation–in hopes of a renewed treatment plan and maybe even a clinical trial.
