Reginald Dixon’s Funeral
Donation protected
Hello everyone.
This GoFundMe page is in behalf of the family of Reginald Dixon. Reginald Dixon’s life ended tragically in the early morning hours August 15th, 2023, after a long fought battle with sepsis from bed wounds amongst other health issues. Reginald Dixon was a great man. A husband of 37 years to Regina Dixon. A father to seven children. A friend to many. He died suddenly at 59 years old, far too soon for any of us. This came at tragic timing fiscally as well, because we later found out the next day that his life insurance policy doesn’t apply fully until invested in for 24 months. That 24th month would have been December of this year. Unfortunately, this means that life insurance is only going to be covering a small fraction of the costs of the death certificate and funerary costs. Social Security will also be no help either, because to receive Widow’s benefits, surviving widows have to be at least 60 years of age. Regina is only 58. We, as a family do not have anywhere near the funds to cover these costs, as this was not expected, and only our son is able to work currently. Any funds received will be used towards these expenses, along with some household bills that we will be behind on after losing the disability check he was receiving. Any support that can be given would be massively appreciated. It will take a massive burden off of the shoulders of the family, and will help us move forward after this devastating loss. Thank you so much for reading. Sharing this story with other people would help immensely, even if you can’t give anything personally.

Reginald and Regina sharing a laugh together.

Reginald and Regina revolved their lives around being Jehovah’s Witnesses. In this picture, Reginald goes out preaching with his wife for the first time.

Reginald and Regina were together for 40 years, and married for 37 of them. A true love that was only separable by death.
