Regulators NFL Flag Canada National Championship

On Saturday, June 10, 2023 The Regulators won the NFL Flag Canada Regional 12U Co-Ed Flag Football Tournament that took place at the University of Regina.

The Regina Regional tournament is one of six Regional tournaments being held in Canada for the 12U Co-Ed age group – the other Canadian 2023 Regional tournaments are being held in Vancouver, Edmonton, Ottawa, Hamilton and Montreal. The 6 regional winners will be playing in the 2023 NFL Flag Canada National Championship in Toronto on September 30 & October 1, 2023 – the winner in Toronto heads to Las Vegas in February to represent Canada at the 2024 NFL Flag Championship tournament during the 2024 NFL Pro Bowl.

The Regulators are made up of 10 amazing athletes and football ambassadors from the Regina Youth Flag Football League (RYFFL) 2023 NFL Flag Spring League Bills, Browns, Cowboys, Falcons, Giants, Rams, Texans & Vikings, they are: Brighton, Brinley, Dalan, Dominic, Ellie, Emersen, Harper, Matthew, Max & Wyatt. 8 of our 10 players are also heavily involved in Regina Minor Football, and/or the Sask Selects Football Program.

The only expenses covered by NFL Flag Canada in Toronto for the players are two nights hotel accommodation, so the team is raising money in order to help offset the overall cost to the players’ families for air fare, one or two extra nights of hotel accommodations, and incidentals in Toronto.
