Help Rehouse Kee and the Kids

Hi my name is Kee, and I’m fundraising so that my 4 children and I can be rehoused within the next 6 weeks after losing our home and all of our personal property in a fire. August 11, while we were away (thank God!) our house burned down. Sadly though, our pet guinea pig, Niko, was home and died. I am a full-time mother of 4 children. Kevin, 13, Terrence, 8, Kha’Meela, 4, and Ky’Annah, 2 in October. I also work full-time as a welder at a factory that builds semi-trailers. I’ve had quite the number of issues with our house every since the day I signed my lease. From black mold to power outages, I’ve been fighting my “slumlord” to provide my children and I a safe and decent living condition. He calls it Charity, I call it a Right. I took that house and signed the lease because I had past evictions and poor credit at the time and he was the only one willing to rent to me. Well, I shortly found out it’s because he just cares about the money. He doesn’t care abt his properties or the families that reside in them. I strongly believe that if he had just kept up with his part, my house would still be standing. My children and I would not be homeless right now. Since the fire, I nor anyone else I’ve contacted like the fire Marshall, PD, or city engineer has heard frm him. I’m pretty positive he has no intention or will to rehouse us himself. Enough about him though. Let me tell y’all.. I have amazing kids who I love with all my heart. We are a God-Fearing family. We are definitely all very silly, adventurous, and fun-loving. We enjoy simple things like going out to eat or seeing new movies. Kevin enjoys tiktok, TJ is Godzilla V Kong crazy right now, Kha’Meela loves makeup and cooking and serving food, and baby girl Ky’Annah enjoys just abt everything. My boys make good grades and play sports. My daughters are spoiled princesses, as they should be. All I want is to provide a good life for them and help make good ppl out of them. So far, I’ve done great at it. But it kills me that my choices and circumstances leading up to May 14,2019 (when we moved in) is why we are cramped in a tiny hotel room, with little clothing and food, for who knows how long. This fundraiser is to ensure that I can pay off my past evictions and utility accounts so I can find a home we deserve by October 5th. October 5th a home will be ready for us, I just need a little help getting ready for it. ❤️‍ God bless you all!
