Help Reid Cesaro Get to St. Jude!!

Hi! I am Gina Leckie and, together with Nikki Markie and Brittany Bridges, I have started this page to raise funds for our nephew, Reid Cesaro, and his family. Those that know my brother, Mike, know that he has a financial plan, and then a contingency plan, and then a back up to the contingency plan. He is a planner at his core. But, nothing could have prepared him and his wife, Tina, for what they are facing in the year to come and the expenses they will incur.

Their 7yr old son, Reid, was diagnosed with a medulloblastoma; a form of brain cancer. While his incredible surgeons were able to remove the tumor, Reid will require both radiation and chemotherapy in the weeks and months ahead. This is an extremely specialized treatment, so Reid has been enrolled in a clinical trial at St. Jude Medical Center in Memphis, TN to receive top notch care over the next 6-8 months.

St. Jude has enormous resources for families, but are unable to accommodate a family of 5. Not only does Reid have the best parents in the world, but he has an identical twin brother, Hudson, and little brother, Milo (4). The most important thing at this time is to keep the family together so they can support each other through the next 6+ months of treatment in Memphis. To move the entire family to Memphis, they need to find a short term rental or long term airbnb, ship their vehicles, and establish homeschooling for the boys. They will need to pay out of pocket for housing, flights to and from CT, and countless other expenses that come with extended hospital stays and short term living in a new city while also maintaining their home and mortgage in CT. While Mike is as frugal as they come, and has saved every penny he has made since the time I convinced him to trade me all of the dimes in his piggy bank for my nickels, these expenses are daunting.
