Our community is REIMAGINING PRIDE in Philadelphia and ALL of our help is needed! We can be successful with the support of the people who know, love, and deeply believe in the LGBTQ+ communities of Philadelphia.
Be a part of building an inclusive Pride, centered on Black and Brown queer and trans communities in Philadelphia. Your donation creates a Pride that honors the origin of LGBTQ+ liberation movement, including protests at Dewey’s in Philadelphia, Stonewall, and the first Philadelphia gay pride demonstration in 1972.
PHL Pride Collective was established in 2021 in the wake of the prior organization dissolving, and quickly embarked on a mission to reimagine Pride. We envision year-round programming that celebrates Philadelphia LGBTQ+ communities and fosters communal love, healing, respect, joy, honor, and care. We are creating spaces for LGBTQ+ people to meet, celebrate our communities, engage in collective healing, educate each other, and support the well-being of LGBTQ+ communities throughout Philadelphia.

The dedicated, community-centered, volunteer PHL Pride Collective has already:
- Adopted Points of Unity at a public community town hall meeting as a framework for our work (https://www.phlpridecollective.org/points-of-unity),
- Hosted an internal retreat to foster relationships and build capacity, and
- Set Philly Pride 2022 for the first weekend of June.
Donate to be a part of this historic moment of building an inclusive Pride guided by the legacy of activism, justice, and equity in LGBTQ+ organizing. We are asking for your support to:
- Host a LGBTQ+ Pride March for Philly Pride 2022,
- Increase the capacity of the LGBTQ+ community to advocate for LGBTQ+ equity, with a focus on people with multiple marginalized identities, and
- Establish The Collective and Philadelphia LGBTQ+ communities as key partners in equity work across the region for racial, ethinic, immigrant, gender, age, class, and disability rights.
