Support Reina's Relief Fund for Rent & Insurance

Hi Community,
I hope this message finds you well. I'm reaching out with a request for support during this time. After seven years, I find myself unexpectedly unemployed, and without the ability to access unemployment benefits. I did not expect to be in this financial situation 5 months into HRT.
I've been attending intensive one-on-one and group therapy five times a week and trying to figure out which medical treatment will bring me some sense of stability to cope with all of this (not the HRT, I've had my whole life to grapple with that). However, come March 1st, I'll lose my insurance coverage unless I opt for COBRA, which is $850 a month.
Unfortunately, I'm ineligible for government assistance programs like Medi-Cal or SNAP due to my legal marital status, despite the fact that my spouse and I have been separated since 2016.
Desperate to regain my footing, I've returned to school to complete my remaining coursework, all while still diligently looking for work. I've applied to positions at SF Community Health Center, the Borealis Foundation, and Larkin Street Youth Services, yet Ive heard nothing back. Not even a phone call.
I wake up each morning confused at circumstances, struggling to deal with the reality of my situation
Thank you for reading this and remember that no donation is too small. I literally don't have an income coming in. Your support means the world to me, and I'm endlessly grateful for any assistance or leads for work.
With heartfelt gratitude and in community,
always,
reina
P.S. feel free to text me, I've had practically no one but my partner and April to text since November.
