Rejuvenate Life: A Cancer Life

My name is Vesh Bhujel. I never imagined that I would be here, sharing my story with you and asking for your help. Life has taken me on a journey filled with love, hard work, and now, a challenge that I cannot face alone.

I grew up in a small village in Nepal called Champadevi, Okhaldhunga—a place where community and family mean everything. I moved to Portugal five years ago to work in agriculture, dreaming of giving my family a better life. But earlier this year, during a visit home, I started feeling a pain in my stomach that I thought was minor. Little did I know, it was the beginning of a battle I never expected.

After multiple checkups and treatments, I was told I had cancer. At first, I did everything I could to fight it while continuing to work. But as the disease progressed to stage four, I had to stop working, and my savings—all the money I’d earned through years of sacrifice—were drained.

Now back in Nepal with my family, I am determined to keep fighting. But the treatments I need to survive come with a cost I cannot afford alone. As the sole provider for my family, I feel the weight of this every single day.

This is where I’m asking for your kindness and generosity. I need to afford the medical care, treatments, and medications that will give me a fighting chance to survive. Every single donation—whether it’s $5 or $500—will directly help me continue my fight.
