Release Eritrea

We have received a call from 470 Eritrean
refugees stranded in the town of Shiraro and a
further 415 from the refugee reception centre
at Endanaguna.

Both groups of refugees have not had their asylum claims processed and have been stranded at a school in Shiraro and  at the refugee reception
centre respectively.
They are extremely vulnerable and at risk of
contracting all sorts of  illness including
COVID19.

It is estimated they will need urgent assistance
in various food, toiletries and clothing items
worth approximately £40,000.

As an organisation we have raised half of the req amount £20,000 and have finalised preparation to send it over, we are appealing for the
remaining half in donations from Eritreans and
friends of Eritrea.

100% of the funds will go to the refugees via our
volunteers on the ground who are already
working with local communities to support the
refugees.
