Reliable Transportation for Olivia
Donation protected
I am a newly single mother with 5 kids. My youngest, Olivia is majorly handicapped. My time is devoted largely to the care and needs of my children and I am unable to work full time as a result. (A paying job at least!) We receive what services we can with honesty. (Medicaid and a few foodstamps) Its never enough to fully provide for my family. I'm not complaining, just trying to be as truthful as possible. We're grateful for what we have. This is a hard thing for me to do!
Here's where I'm asking for everyone's help. My current mode of transportation is failing. I cannot afford the repair costs to fix it. Nor can I afford to buy another without help. I'm barely keeping the bills paid and food on the table. And all of Olivia's specialists are 2-4 hour drives away. We live in a very rural area. (But Beautiful!) Public transportation is non existent. We need our own, reliable way to and from appointments. Recently, her Orthopedic Doctor did some scans on her spine and hips and discovered a severe dislocation of her hip. Which requires reconstructive surgery to correct. It's part of what happens to people with severe Cerebral Palsy like she has. We have a long, hard road ahead of us. I need everyone who can to help us get a better, more reliable vehicle for us to travel safely to and from the many, many appointments in our very near future. Any amount you can donate will be used for the care and benefit of Olivia. I ask from the deepest, most bottom of my heart for help!
