Relief for Annapolis Teen Parker & His Family

Dear Friends, I wanted to take a moment to update you on the situation my friend is currently facing. As some of you may know, Christina Cahall-Hartman's son, Parker Hartman was involved in a horrific car accident on Mother's Day. The news was devastating - he was not expected to survive on the way to the hospital. He was on a ventilator, with a major traumatic brain injury, five broken ribs, one of which pierced an artery near his heart, and had to undergo a 14-hour surgery. The extent of his injuries was unimaginable - a broken pelvis, a bruised heart, a severed spine, a broken jaw in half. The doctors were not optimistic about his chances of waking up anytime soon, and if he did, they weren't sure if he would ever fully recover. He is the most important thing in my friend's life, and watching her go through this has been heart-wrenching. Despite all the challenges she has faced, my friend has shown incredible strength and resilience.

However, the financial burden of his medical care is starting to take its toll. She was in the middle of moving back to Arnold for his senior year of high school when this tragedy struck. She has worked tirelessly to get to where she is, and now she is at risk of falling behind on her bills. As a community, we have come together to support her in any way we can. We are trying to help her with any extra expenses and bills so that she can focus on being by her son's side during this difficult time. He is a sweet boy and a fighter, and we are all rooting for his recovery. Please keep my friend and her son in your thoughts and prayers.
