Relief for Diamond Smith & Family
Donation protected
My dear friend and teammate, Diamond Smith, an active duty construction electrician for the U.S Navy and women's tackle football player was in a horrific car accident Tuesday April 18th, 2017 . Diamond #93 plays LB, DB, RB, WR for the Ventura County Wolfpack and was hit head on by an oncoming pick up truck that swerved into her lane shortly after leaving football practice.
Her injuries are severe with a broken femur, punctured organs and a shattered arm and hand. Diamond was in the intensive care unit for 3 days and is now out of ICU and resting comfortably at VCMC.
As a team we are trying to come a long side our football sister in any way possible. This Saturday's home game against the Inland Empire Ravens on April 22nd at Santa Clara High School in Oxnard California has been dedicated to Diamond, kick off is at 5:30pm. 50% of all game day proceeds and 100% of the money raised on this Gofundme page will be going to Diamond to aid in her recovery expenses.
Every little bit helps... We have been overwhelmed by everyones positive reponses on all our social media outlets and we thank you all so much. Please don't forget that your prayers are still very much needed. Thank you.
