Relief for Lauren in her time of need

I am writing on behalf of my best friend, Lauren Levy, who many of you know from the essential Brooklyn music shop / venue Main Drag Music or as a great friend and supporter of our community. Lauren has spent the past year caring for her generous and loving partner Timothy Moran, as he has battled serious health issues.

Tim passed yesterday, leaving Lauren in a vulnerable situation, as she has been unable to work and manage in a normal way while being a devoted partner and caretaker to Tim in his time of need. Lauren is by far the most generous friend in my life, and anyone who knows her knows this to be true. Tim was her absolute match, someone who gave to anyone in need without any hesitation. I am asking our community to pitch in and show her some support in her time of need.

These coming weeks are going to be difficult and trying, and in order to heal properly, she needs financial support. Those of us who are able, I ask you to show our loving friend some support so she can get back to doing the things she does best.
