Relief For Our Lala

As many may know, Kayla was life flighted to the ICU where she is being treated for a critical case of Covid and pneumonia. She was put into a medically induced coma until her body and lungs are strong enough to breathe well enough on their own. These next few weeks are going to be very touch and go, and she has a very long road of recovery ahead of her. 

She would probably not be happy that we are doing this, but I know the medical bills, expenses, therapy/rehabilitation, and all the things that come with this awful situation will rack up. I think she deserves for all of those in her world to rally around her, as she would do for us. We are devastated and praying, so hard, that our girl heals up and gets through this.

She is a shining light in our world, and we need her here. We need to see all the vacations and adventures to come. We have more memories to make. We have more laughs to laugh, and she has so much to live for. We know she is stubborn and a warrior, we know she is fighting the good fight. We can't wait for the day to hear her belly laugh, or sing horribly off key (at the top of her lungs), go on a random adventure with, sit with and people watch, drink a peppermint milkshake with, and give baby Meeko Allen all the loves possible.

We love her so much and we truly believe she can somehow sense all the love and prayers going up for her. She has a HUGE tribe behind her and it has been so overwhelming to see the love and support poured out for our Lala. 

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We love you all, SHE loves you all. Please be safe out there and take care of yourselves.

And to our Kayla Lanai, we love you far beyond what you could ever fathom, girl. From the depths of our souls, please continue to fight. You are irreplaceable and we can't wait for the day we get to hear your voice and hug you tight. You’ve got this. You have to. And whatever you don’t have, we do.
