Relief For Simon Morin Family After House Fire

On the early morning of April 14th, Around 5:20 a.m, Draven was the first to wake up to the smell of smoke and ran to the living room to find the couch up in flames; The cause of the fire is still unknown. Draven and his younger brother Kevin JR and their Father Kevin were the first ones to make it out, but they had trouble finding the younger brothers Ryan and Christian, who are both autistic. Christian was the first to be found, he was caught in the middle of the fire with 90% of his body burned.

What makes this truly devastating is that Christian sadly passed away early Thursday morning. Ryan was found in the opposite side of the house and will be okay but has severe lung damage from all of the smoke and will be hospitalized for up to two weeks. The two sisters of the family, Kiandra and Samantha, were not home that night.

Currently, The family is heartbroken to lose their brother and son, As well as their 5 cats but also in disbelief to lose absolutely everything they own, their basic necessities, all of their belongings; everything has been burnt or has water damage. All they are left with is the clothes on their back.

The family is in shock. I am writing this in the hope of helping my Uncle and cousins rebuild their lives. In your kind hearts, We are asking you to donate even a dollar, anything to help them get back the things we take for granted, Household furniture, food, beds, clothing, appliances, etc.
