Relief for Sudanese Families Displaced by War

Since April of 2023, civil war has torn apart and destroyed my home county of Sudan. Millions have been displaced and thousands have been killed. Beginning in Khartoum (where the majority of my family lives), the war has now spread to neighboring cities with no end in site.

The majority of my aunts, uncles and cousins live in Sudan and every single one of them has been displaced by this widespread and senseless violence. Alhamdulilah, we are thankful for their lives and their ability to flee the country. However, they have all lost their homes and all of their possessions, and they are unable to work or even withdraw funds from the local banks where they had funds because they have been ransacked by the Rapid Support Forces that are attempting to takeover Sudan.

My family members who are outside of the United States are working to find ways to support and immigrate our family members who were living in Sudan and have now fled to neighboring countries. They have to start completely over and there are many families impacted, which makes assisting them all even more difficult. As time is of the essence, we are asking our networks for support in raising funds for all of our relatives who have had to leave our home county with nothing to start rebuilding their lives elsewhere. Sadly, it will likely be many years before they can return to Sudan.
