Relief for the Cuneo Family

The Cuneo family has been a second family to me for as long as I can remember. They are some of the most caring, loving people and they could not be more deserving. Charles and Nikki have been married for 25 years, and they have two children, Tyler, 23, and Kenzie, 20. I literally called Nikki  “Mom 2,” Charles “Dad 2,” Tyler “Brother,” and Kenzie “Little Sis,” and some of my favorite childhood memories take place in their Erie homes. Unfortunately, this holiday season has brought an unexpected tragedy to the family, and Nikki, Tyler, and Kenzie have been forced to make some very difficult decisions in light of an illness that has left Charles with a permanent brain injury. Charles was a great man, friend, husband, and father. This unfathomable tragedy struck two days before Christmas and has left his family and friends devastated and broken.
