Relief for victims of Mount Nyiragongo eruption
Tax deductible
A little over a week ago, on May 22, Mount Nyiragongo, an active volcano, violently erupted, and its deadly lava flow headed straight to the city of Goma in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo. Even worse, the local people had no warning, and many fled for their lives. Nearly a half million people, including hundreds of thousands of children, were forced to evacuate. Most are now homeless and without food and water. It’s grim, and we are asking for your help.
Five years ago, the Bismack Biyombo Foundation in the Goma and Lake Kivu area was set up to run an elite free school for kids. The Foundation has helped to upgrade hospitals, run free mobile health clinics, and do everything possible to help. They are already on the ground helping victims and their families in and around Goma, but they desperately need more supplies, donations, and your help.
Please, if you can, contribute here whatever you can to help. It’s all good. This is truly one of the worst disasters that has ever struck Bismack's homeland and people. Thank you and God Bless.
