Relief fund for Al from Kid Shelleen's

As many of you know, Al was involved in a serious car accident on March 7th, 2021.   Alan is a vital and loved member of our Kid Shelleen's family and we know that he has a long road to recovery ahead of him, but he'll be alright.  While he has considerable injuries and has endured multiple surgeries, his wife says his trademark humor is "definitely on point - no part of that shows signs of trauma."  If you've sat at the bar at Kid Shelleen's in the last 20 years, no doubt you've enjoyed Al's wit and service.  Many have asked how they can help - the outpouring of love and support has been incredible.  This is an attempt to channel some of that in a way that can benefit Al and his family during this time - his granddaughter turned 2(!) last week while he was in the hospital.

We'll ultimately leave the best use of this fund to his loving family.  From food delivery services to purchasing equipment to help Al's rehab when he gets home are possible uses.  As he recovers, we'll know better how to help.  As of today, Al has been transferred to a rehabilitation facility after 2+ weeks in the hospital.

We'll be updating this periodically through Al's recovery.  Angie Rutherford, Al's wife, has been designated as the beneficiary of this campaign.
