My name is Eva Castaneda and my brother, Danny and I are starting this is a relief fund for our mom, Alexandra Castaneda. This fund would go entirely to our mom for any funeral cost or repairs.

For a short 9 months we watched my dad go from the upbeat jokester to a frail cancer riddle shell of a person. During this time the February winter storm put their home in serious jeopardy, forcing them to leave for a few months. On April 1, 2021 our dad took his last breath. And most recently our mom had gallbladder surgery and also tested positive for covid (she is vaccinated). The strain and stress has taken a toll on our mom. My mom lost her life mate, her partner, and father of her children.

The current home repairs include patching up roof, new plumbing kitchen, new A/C (or repair it), remodel of bathroom ceiling, reinstall insulation.  We would like to celebrate the man who meant so much so many people. Finding a location for a memorial would be the biggest expense. We plan to hold a services in Austin and Houston.
