Relief fund for Free SF Tour

Fellow travel family, 


Firstly, I hope that this read finds you in good health, and in a safe place. 

My name is Filip and I am the creator of a free walking tour in San Francisco.


Four and a half years ago I created the Free SF Tour. This started as a small initiative where I would go to Union Square every day to meet people, and walk with them around San Francisco. I did this every day, rain or shine, for two years. I went on to write a book, and started teaching others on how to run a tour, do storytelling and public speaking. I taught them to express themselves in front of a crowd. This started changing lives; mine and theirs. 


We put all our passion for San Francisco to tell amazing stories of our city, we recommended local places, museums, eateries, cafeterias, and other local businesses to 30,000 people over the past few years, bringing value to local businesses. In the good times, we contributed to SF tourism, but now with COVID-19,  in the bad times, we’re out of business and we need your help.


Our organization is very small, we’re only 3 people right now, and we don’t need much to survive until it’s all over and we’re back on Union Square. While shelter-in-place, we started cooking for our neighbors and delivering the food at their doorstep, not so much for profit,  but to keep the community spirit up. When we do grocery shopping we also do it for our elderly neighbors so we can keep them safe too. Now more than ever we need to support and take care of each other. 


$3100 is our monthly goal toward one/single month rent and trust me, every dollar counts.
