Support the Onofre Family Recover from the Palisades Fire

During this difficult time for many citizens of Los Angeles, we are asking for assistance on behalf of the Onofre Family to help recover from the Palisades Fire which ravaged their home of 30+ years and entire town.

The Onofre Family moved to Los Angeles from Peru in 1980s, overcoming unimaginable odds and obstacles to be here. Having grown up in remote areas of the Peruvian Mountains (Jucul and Huánuco), his father setup a medical practice in Culver City where he worked with his wife, and together they have treated innumerable patients over the years in the local community. He has been semi-retired for the past ten years, but his mission and joy is helping people, and he often does so at no cost for his longstanding patients.

Citizens of Palisades would regularly see his mom passing out fruits and vegetables form their garden, which was their pride and connection to the land they developed growing up in the Andes Mountains of Peru.

Their home in Pacific Palisades was the paradise they worked so hard for—their dream come true for their children and family. Now they are unfortunately facing a heavy loss on the house and all of their belongings.
