Relief Fund for the Maui Resort Rentals Ohana

The community of West Maui has been devastated by the fires that swept through our beloved town of Lahaina on Tuesday August 8, 2023. In the aftermath, most of the town has been destroyed, lives have been lost, and thousands of residents have been displaced. Lahaina town was the primary home for the Maui Resort Rentals workers who served the guests of the Kaanapali resorts.

We have been receiving an overwhelming outpouring of concern for our Maui Resort Rentals Ohana amidst this catastrophic tragedy. Many owners, past guests, and members of our community have asked how they can support us during this difficult time. We are still working to evaluate the damage and assist our many staff members that have lost everything, but at this point, it appears that around 30% of Maui Resort Rentals families have lost their homes.

We have created this fund to help our employees. All funds will provide those displaced by the fires with basic needs.

Over the years, The Maui Resort Rentals staff has grown to over 100 employees. We are grateful that nearly all have been accounted for, but this is only the beginning of a challenging recovery effort.

In the wake of this tragic event, we now invite you to give back to the displaced Maui Resort Rentals workers who have hosted countless special vacations and helped so many to create irreplaceable memories right here on West Maui.
