Relief fund for the Wilkey family

Please join us in helping our dear friend Corwyn Wilkey and his family. He was recently hospitalized after feeling tired and weak over the last few days, and was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre Syndrome. This is a rare autoimmune disease that essentially attacks the nervous system. This disease typically starts out as numbness and/or tingling in the feet and legs, and progressively works itself up the rest of the body leaving the individual temporarily paralyzed. Fortunately, Corwyn is receiving treatment for this, but his doctors expect that his symptoms will worsen before he starts to get better. He is going to have a long road to recovery. Once he gets through this critical period, he is looking at extensive rehabilitation. This unexpected situation has the potential to leave a lasting impact on his family. His wife is a nurse, and is currently juggling the stress of this while caring for their two small children at home.

Corwyn is an amazing friend, father, and husband. He is the type of guy that would give you the shirt off his back without thinking twice. He has done so much for our family and for many others in his life.  All donations will help cover medical bills and personal expenses during this time, as he will be out of work for an indefinite amount of time. If you are unable to make a monetary donation, please contact us if you would like to help in other ways (meals, dog walking, grocery pick-ups, etc).
