Relief Funds for the Aguilar Corona Family

This GoFundMe was created by the brothers of Juan Carlos Aguilar and his cousins (myself included).

On July 24th, 2022, at around 2 am, a house fire took the lives of Juan Carlos Aguilar (Father), Marisol Corona (Mother), Mario Enrique Aguilar (Son), Daniela Aguilar (Daughter), Karla Aguilar (Daughter), and Marisol Aguilar (Daughter). The oldest daughter was able to escape the flames and alerted her neighbors, who called 911.

We aim to use these funds to help with the costs of the funeral, clean the remains of the home as the city requires cleanup within 120 days, take care of some debts for the brother, and use the rest on the sole surviving daughter as no child should ever have to feel such suffering at a young age. The eldest daughter is 13 and will need all the help she can get to rebuild her life and hopefully have enough to go to college or pursue other future endeavors.

Este GoFundMe fue creado por los hermanos de Juan Carlos Aguilar y sus primos (incluido yo mismo).

El 24 de julio de 2022, a las 02:00 de la mañana, un incendio domiciliario se cobró la vida de Juan Carlos Aguilar (Padre), Marisol Corona (Madre), Mario Enrique Aguilar (Hijo), Daniela Aguilar (Hija), Karla Aguilar (Hija), y Marisol Aguilar (Hija). La hija mayor pudo escapar el incendio y alertó a sus vecinos, quienes llamaron al 911.

Nuestro objetivo es usar estos fondos para ayudar con los costos del funeral, limpiar los restos de la casa ya que la ciudad requiere limpieza dentro de los 120 días, atender algunas deudas del hermano y usar el resto en la única hija sobreviviente ya que ningún niño debería tener que sentir tal sufrimiento a esa edad. La hija mayor tiene 13 años y necesitará toda la ayuda que pueda obtener para reconstruir su vida y, con suerte, tener suficiente para ir a la universidad o emprender otros proyectos en el futuro.

Update: Due to miscommunication the estimated amount was supposed to be set at $90,000 an estimate amount of $15,000 for each family member lost in the fire. This amount will still help go toward funeral costs for each person, the clean-up of the house and to help the eldest daughter continue her life moving forward from this traumatic event.
