Help Requested Following House Fire, Vet Bill for Napoleon
Donation protected
Hi my name is Chris, and my fiancée Shelley and I have tragically lost nearly everything we own in a fire that occurred today, 4/23. Fortunately everyone is safe, inclding our Newfoundland named Napoleon, who is currently undergoing medical treatment for extreme smoke inhalation.
We're asking for any help you can offer. We're still getting married next month, so nothing has changed. We're just going to start out with a lot less than we expected. If you can help at all, that would be awesome. Thanks very much, we love y'all.

Update - Napoleon is doing well. He developed a wet cough overnight, which is part of the healing process for carbon monoxide poisoning. He's still receiving oxygen treatment and should be released tomorrow.
Update 2:
Napoleon is doing fantastic. Still coughing, but that's good. He was refusing to eat until we brought some chicken, so that brought him a little joy today. We need to figure out living arrangements for a while, so we're reaching out to the Red Cross today to sort that out. The hospital bills are over $4,000, so we are extremely thankful and appreciative of everyone who has donated or shared the page. We're going to get through this.
Despite everything, we'll move forward together.
Update 3

Huge thanks to Pet Wants at Trilith who graciously donated food and treats for Napoleon.
We're currently in an airbnb until Tuesday, but the insurance company for the HOA is refusing to pay for any work done in the condo.
Update 4
Now that he's getting his strength back, we took Napoleon out for his first real bath since the fire. Afterwards, we picked up some nice treats at Pet Wants. He still gets winded so we try to limit his activities.
Amazing wedding news. Sarah with J Andrew's Bridal in Peachtree City learned about the destruction of Shelley's wedding dress and most graciously offered to provide her with a new wedding dress. Shelley went to try on dresses this morning and picked out the perfect dress for our wedding in three weeks. Thank you so much, Sarah!
It has been an incredibly emotional week. We are both overwhelmed with the outpouring of support from friends, family, work family, and people we don't yet know who have all offered us both encouragement and resources. We will absolutely reach out to each of you personally, but we have to say thank you. Each of you, you're all amazing people who have made all the difference. We love you all.
