Relieve My Dog Squirt's Pain: Support His Eye Surgery

Meet Squirt, a lovable, loud and excitable little corgi/husky mix, and my beloved companion for the past 9 years. Originally rescued in 2016 to be an emotional support animal for my autism, he's been a loyal guardian for me. Refusing to allow anyone near me while I sleep, only listening to commands from me, to even refusing food and going to the bathroom with other people when I was out of commission due to surgery in 2021 for days at a time. He has done nothing in his life except shower me with all the love and support he could muster.

Unfortunately, in Squirt's age, some issues have arisen with his eye- normally having a small, benign, mass on his right eyelid for his entire life, in the past year it has suddenly tripled in size, bulging out his eyelid, ramming into his eye and causing extreme discomfort for him, in addition to large amounts of liquid running from his eye.

The vet urged us to have this mass removed, but we have been unable to do so due to lacking the funds to afford such a procedure. While trying to build up the money to have this surgery eventually done, Squirt's eye worsened still, swelling more to the point he began clawing at it, and rubbing it against the ground, scratching his eye to the point of bleeding on several occasions. I am making this gofundme to hopefully get this mass removed, before Squirt causes serious damage to his eye, and ease his pain as he has done for me for so many years.
