Relocate Michelle Schroader's Remains

If you've listened to Ashley and Brit's latest episode , you'll know about the brutal murder of my mother, Michelle Schroader. Although Mr. Allen was not found guilty of the murder, their relationship had a history of violence, and a domestic violence order was in effect at the time of her death. After his own death in 2011, Mr. Allen was buried next to my mother. Another member of his family has been buried there as well.
My brother, Kyle, and I would like to move our mother's remains somewhere we think she can rest more peacefully—a place our family can visit without the constant reminder of the murder trial.
The funeral home tells us the cost of exhuming and transferring her body to a new plot will be about $4,000. Not having a lot of expendable income ourselves, we're asking for your help! Any money we receive over the needed amount will be donated to OASIS Women's Shelter, a local domestic violence program for battered women and their dependent children.
