Who this will help

Hi, I am representing the Chamber of Commerce of the small town of Hazlehurst, Mississippi. Many decades ago we had a much-loved sign that welcomed visitors to Hazlehurst, Center of Copiah County, Mississippi's Most Diversified County.

Why I'm fundraising

The sign was removed many years ago after being hit by a truck. Despite the decades that have passed, residents of the city and county remember the sign as a wonderful slice of our cultural heritage and a point of pride for the city.

The impact of your support

We have sought out quotes to remake the sign, complete with its neon lighting and lettering. While we have raised $5000 toward the re-creation of the sign, we still have $17,000 to go. For all of those who remember this unique sign, please consider donating so that we can return this treasured piece of our history to its original spot in the center of Hazlehurst.
