Remembarance of AJ Mattern

AJ, my brother in law lost his young life on Sunday August 2, 2020. We are raising money to help with the cost of providing AJ one final loving heartfelt good bye. AJ did not have life insurance. All money raised will be used to offset any funeral cost that will be incurred. AJ was an unselfish, caring, loving, supportive family member. He was a loving father to his son Landon, he was a great friend to whomever he came in contact with. AJ would put others needs in front of his own. He was funny and down to earth. Always a listening ear and a helping hand. He was a volunteer firefighter and would often put his life in harms way to save those in times of need. AJ would always be seen laughing and telling his jokes. 

Please help his family in their time of need. His family has endured so much during this short but precious time on earth. AJ lost his older sister in March 3, 1997. As a parent to two young children I can't imagine the pain that my mother in law is enduring during this time. Parents should never have to bury their children. My mother in law needs all the help and support. No child should ever be buried by a parent.

His mother will be handling the final arrangements for her loving son taken to soon from all of us.
