Remember Elise Finch: Support for Graig & Grace

The loss of Elise Finch has left a hole in our hearts. Her husband, and our longtime newsroom colleague, photojournalist Graig Henriques, is facing emotional and financial challenges as he grieves the loss of his wife, and cares for their 6-year-old daughter Grace. Like Elise, Graig’s greatest blessing was welcoming Grace into their lives. He beamed taking her to this year’s Daddy Daughter dance, and Grace’s drawings hang in his satellite truck, one of which reads “The Coolest Dad!” At work, he supports everyone with incredible warmth and loyalty. He is not one to ask for help. Those of us who are closest to him know he handles every setback and adjustment thoughtfully and quietly. This fund seeks to help ease the stress of mounting monthly bills and allow stability for father and daughter in this tough time.
