In Memory of Our Fallen Eagles

It is with great sorrow that we share with you the news of a tragic car accident that took the lives of five Georgia Southern University nursing students and injured two others in the early morning hours of April 22nd, 2015. To see so many young lives cut short, in such a tragic way, is incredibly painful. Their families are in need of our support now more than ever.

Emily Clark, Morgan Bass, Abbie Deloach, Catherine (McKay) Pittman, and Caitlyn Bagget each passed on. Brittney McDaniel and Megan Richards are currently being treated for their injuries. The nursing students were en route to Savannah, Georgia from Statesboro, Georgia in order to complete the last round of clinical rotations of their first year of nursing school when the tragic events occurred. These wonderful women dedicated their lives to helping others through the nursing profession, and now is the time for us to help their families in this time of great sorrow. Please consider making a monetary donation in memory/honor of the victims of this tragic occurrence.

All funds raised will be donated to the families of the victims in order to assist them with funeral costs, medical bills, and other related expenses.
