Remembering Aidan: A Brave Little Hero

Aidan Christopher Onopa lost his valiant battle with Ewing Sarcoma on January 16, 2025.

Aidan exuded bravery every day. He taught us how to face adversity without complaint. He taught us about hope and strength and humor. Mostly, he taught us that it’s all “small stuff”.

Our hearts are with the family as they grieve the loss of such a beautiful boy. The outpouring of support from the community has been remarkable. All of their specific needs are unknown at this time, but while they adjust to life without Aidan and all their “new normals,” we’d like to help ease their mind of financial burdens. Funeral expenses, bills, groceries, mental health support, perhaps a family vacation and other needs as they arise.

He may no longer be with us physically, but his spirit will continue to shine within all of those that loved him so.

Sometimes the real super heroes live in the hearts of small children fighting big battles… and what a fearless foe Aidan has been.
