Remembering Alejandro: A Place to Gather

Hello, I’m Angel, Alejandro’s second older brother. On October 17th, my little brother sadly took his own life. Our family is grieving through these hard times, and we’re really not the type to ask for help; we usually struggle till we can keep our heads afloat. But this tragic loss has made us spiral out of course.

I ask not to donate to me but to my brother, Alejandro Jesus Hernandez, who deserves to be able to peacefully rest and have a burial site where all family can come together and share the light that Alejandro cast upon them in the short time he had with us.

Alejandro had a nickname we all called him, and it was Nemo. We called him this because he had a small ear, which resembled the small fin Nemo had in the movie Finding Nemo. This man really was a motivator for us as parents and siblings to better ourselves and have a reason to keep going, but losing him halted that, and now we’ve got to fight harder to live a legacy he would be proud of. One day, when we do get to meet him, we’ll all be united and whole again.
