Remembering Alex "Mike" Dixon

Tragedy struck on Tuesday, January 4th, 2022, and sadly the world lost Michael (Mikey) Alexander Dixon at the age of 51.

Alex will be remembered by many for his kindness and sheer dedication to his “Family”. Family was to Alex, something you chose to be a part of. He had friends he would consider his brothers and sisters, and never ever made a distinction of “Step” or “Half”. If you were under his umbrella of family, it did not matter. Though many would have considered him crazy, he married Kelly in 2008 after a long courtship while she had THREE teenagers in the house. He never made them feel like they were anything other than HIS kids. The wealth of life skills and knowledge he had would astound those around him. He could fix just about anything he ever tried to. He never gave up on people and always tried to see the best in everyone.

To those who remain, remember Alex’s favorite saying when times were tough; “You do what you do for family.” He lived by those words, and always did everything he could to make sure his “Family” had everything they needed.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday January 15th, 2022, at 11:00AM. Service will be held at Lucas Funeral Home, located at 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst Tx, 76053.
