Remembering Alfie Reeves III aka Fresh

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alfie "Fresh" Reeves III, a beloved member of the Long Beach community. Alfie, born 55 years ago to his parents Alfred and Linda, was a lifelong resident of Long Beach, CA, and a proud Poly Jackrabbit, following in the footsteps of his father along with his three sisters.

Alfie leaves behind the love of his life, Joanne, and his four dogs, whom he cherished as his own children. He was a mentor to many, regardless of age, always playing the role of 'Big Brother' with kindness and compassion.

On March 19, 2024, Alfie unexpectedly passed away after a lifelong struggle with asthma. While we may not know the 'why,' we do know that we will deeply miss Fresh, his love, and his sense of humor.

To honor Alfie's memory and support his family during this difficult time, we have created this GoFundMe memorial. All funds raised will go directly to Alfie's family to help with funeral expenses and support them as they navigate this loss.
