Remembering Amanda's Spirit for Her Boys

Donation protected

We lost Amanda Flowers, a beautiful wife and mother to two boys, in a tragic car accident on February 1st. She was the light and soul of our family and touched so many others with her optimistic outlook on life. She had a tattoo of SpongeBob in her bikini bottom and identified with him most out of anyone out there. She would have loved nothing more than making employee of the month... every month, lol! She was an empathetic, loving, accepting soul who made friends everywhere she went and connected with people like no one I've ever known. She leaves behind many, many broken hearts, but more happy memories and stories than we could ever hope to share. Her boys are both still in school, and it's hard not to think about all the memories still to be made without her in them. We are trying to honor her memory and her zest for life with a memorial in her honor on the land she loved most and a fund set up for her boys to continue their adventures throughout high school, college, and life.

Amanda loved to frolic in the woods, hiking, biking, boating, traveling, taking photos, and making friends along the way. She would send her favorite songs daily to dozens of people just to brighten their days or give us a peek into her spirit. She had recently changed from an office job to a retail job at Ace Hardware, where she loved to show off her strength and toughness, competing with the men tossing feed bags or filling propane tanks. Her little 90-pound self never knew she wasn't supposed to be able to accomplish anything she set her mind to, and she proved it often.

We hope you'll get a small glimpse of the loving, dedicated mother and free spirit through the few pictures we've been able to share here. Please donate if you are able. All funds will be used to honor her beautiful spirit and support her boys as they learn to live their lives without her.
