Remembering Ambrose Sullivan - 2022

Tomorrow would have been Ambrose's 26th birthday. As we have for the past two years, we are raising money to support the Ambrose Ian Sullivan Memorial Collection at the Pinckney Public Library. To date, the library has added 119 new works of science fiction/fantasy for adults, teens, and children. As many of you know, Ambrose's memorial, an engraved stone bench, sits on the grounds of the library, and we will be working with them to install a plaque inside the library.

This year, we are hoping to add 26 new books to the collection through this fundraiser. That will cost somewhere between $350 and $700. Anything you can contribute to this project would be awesome.

Due to an unfortunate incident with scammers last spring, The Friends of the Pinckney Community Library are no longer willing to use online payment processors. In prior years, your donation went more or less directly to the 501(c)3, and was therefore tax-deductible. This year, I will be acting as an intermediary, collecting the funds and writing a check.
