"Remembering Ankit Gupta Honouring His Journey in Canada”

Hi, I am Ishan Gupta.

I and my sister are heartbroken to share the devastating news of the sudden passing of Ankit Gupta, our elder brother. Ankit had moved from India to unite with me and my sister on July 9th but the happiness and joy of three siblings lasted only 5 days. Ankit, who was extremely happy to be here, lost his life on night of July 15th due to a sudden heart failure.

Ankit had big hopes and dreams for his life here in Canada but life took a tragic turn and we are left with a big void.

In the wake of this tragedy, we are reaching out to our community of family and friends for support. Ankit did not have his insurance and there is a cost for everything that followed his passing.

I have the burden of not only losing my elder brother but the weight of the substantial hospital bill, autopsy bill and the cost to arrange the funeral and last rites. Our parents are back in India and I am trying to bring my parents to Canada for them to be able to see their departed son one last time before funeral.
