Remembering Armen: A Life of Love and Service

My name is Maral. My father was Armen G. Der Torossian. He passed away peacefully at home at the age of 87. 10 days after his birthday and 13 days after his 57th wedding anniversary to his wife Asdghig who passed away 10/3/21. He didn’t suffer nor was he in any pain. He was well known in the Armenian community. He was well known for his jewelry store Armen Jeweler's and Uncle Z’a deli in downtown SF. He was a loving husband and father to his 4 children. He lived life to the fullest. Any free time he had, he spent helping out the Armenian community. There were times when he would come home late and leave home early because he was either working really hard or doing something for the community. My father will truly be missed.
