Remembering Austin Kinser
Donation protected
Austin Kinser, 18, of Lincoln, Nebraska, was a May 2020 graduate of Lincoln Southwest High School and a Junior at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln majoring in Mechanical Engineering. He was an avid member of the local car community with a passion for customizing and selling cars, working his way up from an old F150 pickup to a 2015 V8 Mustang, even giving his mother the joy of her first ride in a Corvette. He aspired to design cars or rollercoasters and to obtain his dealer’s license to buy and sell cars. Austin valued health, friends, family, and happiness, and was always just a text or call away. He was an incredibly selfless individual who lived life to the fullest and touched many lives in his time.
Friday, January 28th at approximately 9:20 a.m., Austin was in a motorcycle-SUV collision at the intersection of North Antelope Valley Parkway and Salt Creek Roadway and was immediately transported to the hospital under critical condition. Austin Kinser tragically passed the following Monday, January 31st.
Community support to his GoFundMe will be used by the family for any expenses incurred following this tragic incident and loss of a son, brother, and uncle.
