Remembering Bianca Beyrouti

On January 2nd, we lost Bianca Beyrouti—a loving daughter, sister, friend, community activist, and a cornerstone of the Bay Area film community. Bianca was known for her generosity, loyalty, integrity, and adventurous spirit. She was a thoughtful communicator who inspired trust, and she dedicated her life to creating opportunities for marginalized communities.

Through mutual aid organizations, the Bay Area Media Makers Summit, and her role on the board of the Arab Film and Media Institute, Bianca worked tirelessly to increase access and foster inclusion. Whether advising or actively working on indie film projects, she was a lifeline and resource to so many. Her absence leaves an irreplaceable void in our community.
