Remembering Bill Walton: Honoring a Legacy
Donation protected
…….
On behalf of Bill Walton’s many friends and family that have witnessed his help and support over the years, we’d like to take the burden off his end-of-life expenses for his family and honor his memory with a quaint memorial bench.
We will miss him and aspire to be as giving as he was. A lesson he demonstrated time and time again.
Bill had a huge heart and helped youth all over the region. He also volunteered to help veterans, mental health programs, first responders, and any kid-related activity, but especially softball and musical arts.
~He gave when he had nothing to give~
He paid players' fees, bought gear, brought food, found instruments, all the kind things that aren't always recognized. Even when recovering at home from a surgery or illness- he asked which kids needed help.
Proceeds will go towards his cremation costs and help Kristy get on her feet. Any extra proceeds will go towards a memorial bench and trees at a local park in Three Forks or the softball fields.
Bill coached and helped start up the Bozeman Stealers. He coached Softball at Bozeman High for years. Then coached travel in Livingston, Bozeman, and volunteered in Three Forks with their new high school program. He volunteered at Hero’s and Horses. He was a spokesperson for mental health, Diabetes, and accessible healthcare.
Please feel free to share.
Messages or Memories for Bill’s Family and Friends are welcome and encouraged.
I’m happy to meet with anyone that’s not comfortable with online donations.
My connection:
Bill and I coached together, hosted clinics, networked, our family enjoyed ol’ geezer hunting and good music with him, difficult life moments, celebrations, and lots of stories. Outside of softball he had the coolest stories of his family, his jobs, and his adventures. He will be missed, but his giving legacy will remain impactful.
