Remembering Bobby Howe

Bobby Howe has been a fixture and trusted resource to the sawmill and Planermill industry for many decades.  He worked for Michigan Knife, IKS, Simonds and with his wife Marilyn ran his own business M-Tek.  Bobby was deservingly well known and respected in our industry for his ability and willingness to help sawmill customers solve problems and share his knowlege.  I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Bobby for 30 years.
Earlier this year Bobby was diagnosed with a brain cancer named Glioblastoma, a most aggressive type of cancer.
Last week, Bobby lost his battle and went on to a better place.
Marilyn Howe and the Howe Family appreciate the out pouring of sympathy they have received.  If anyone would like to make a memorial donation in Bobby's honor, Marilyn has designated that The Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center DUMC Box 3624, Durham, NC 27710 be the recipient. Please feel free to make a donation directly or you can donate thru this site. All funds collected here will be donated to the Brain Tumor center at Duke University and Marilyn will receive information about your donation if you so desire.  This site will be running thru Saturday September 12.  Please keep Marilyn, Bobby and the Howe family in your prayers.
