Bonni, forever in our hearts

Meet our beautiful Bonni. A courageous red head with a heart of gold. 

In the early hours of July 4th 2018, Bonni Barga Patterson passed away suddenly.  Due to the unexpected nature of her departure, the family was not financially prepared. 

I would like to take a moment and tell you a little more about our beautiful Bonni, and let you have a glimpse of the girl we all loved so dearly. 

It is hard to limit the magnificent person we lost to just simply words, in fact it is almost impossible. You see, Bonni's energy lit up every room she entered. She was a truly beautiful force to behold. With her stunning vibrant red locks of hair, her infectious personality and a contagious laugh, all contained within a tiny frame and sweet feminine style, she was completely unforgettable.

She was brilliant and quick-witted. Her culinary skills were a true art that she crafted with such passion. She possessed a gift of hospitality and genuine compassion that never ceased. The unconditional love and her heart drove her to fight fearlessly for her loved ones and for what was right. She understood that we all must lift up and take care of one another. She also felt everything, all the good, the bad and the ugly. But she chose to believe in the good of people. 

Bonni was a true philanthropist, who had a huge heart and a compassionate desire to help anyone in need. As a testament to her heart having no limits, her spirit of philanthropy will live on long after her passing, by her organ donation. 


Her family was her world. Her pride and joy. She lived fully with a passion for fun and adventure. Her husband was the love of her life and her children were her greatest accomplishments. 


While we are all grieving, her family is undergoing not only the loss of their beloved, they have the unexpected cost of a funeral.  The last thing we want is for them to worry about finances or funeral cost.

With the permission of her family, we have started this go fund me page with the intention of raising some support to offset the financial burden of her memorial service and remaining medical expenses. If enough funds are obtained, her husband would like for it to go into a scholarship fund.
