Remembering Boomer: A Father's Love

We are deeply saddened by the recent passing of Michael Patrick Barrett, “Boomer,” a beloved father, friend, fraternity brother, teammate, and community member. Boomer was known for his generosity, kindness, and unwavering love for his family and friends. He was the type of person who would always lend a hand to those in need, and he was particularly devoted to his two daughters, Tori and Abbie.

Sadly, Tori passed a few years before, leaving Abbie with the overwhelming responsibility of handling not only her father’s funeral expenses but also the financing associated with her own upcoming wedding. Despite these unexpected challenges, Abbie remains strong and determined to honor both her father and sister’s memories.

In honor of Boomer's legacy and the love he had for his daughters, we are launching this GoFundMe campaign to help ease the financial pressures she is now facing. All funds raised will go directly to Abbie to assist with funeral expenses and wedding costs during this heartbreaking time.
