Remembering Charles Light Perkins
Donation protected
We were sadly given the news that Charles was found deceased in Phoenix Arizona on August 4th, 2024 at age 46.
He was a decorated war vet in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
Charles served in the Navy for 10 years, then went into the Army for a few years before being medically discharged and given a 100% disability rating through the VA.
Later in life he dedicated his time to his love for horses and owned a small dude ranch in northern Arizona where he did guided horseback riding tours at the Grand Canyon.
I still don’t have many answers as to what happened, but Charles somehow ended up homeless in Phoenix, which is where he passed away.
Charles leaves behind 2 sons ages 13 & 15 in Texas and a daughter, age 3 in California.
I am opening this GoFundMe in hopes of raising money to help his mother out with mortuary expenses and expenses to fly his children out for his burial. We are still working out the details as to where this will be.
Anything helps.
Thank you.
